Rare Book Leaves, 1493-1497
The third series, Rare Book Leaves, comprises two incunable leaves. Both are from printings of the Nuremberg Chronicle, an encyclopedic "universal history" of great significance compiled by Hartmann Schedel. The work is also known as Liber Chronicarum (Book of Chronicles) or Die Schedelsche Weltchronik (Schedel's World History).
