Lee Knight Collection
Lee Knight grew up in the Adirondack Mountain area of New York State. He moved to North Carolina as the result of an interest in the Anglo, European and Native American music and stories of the Southern Appalachians developed during college. In addition to the Adirondacks and Appalachians, he has collected songs and stories from other parts of the world, including England, Scotland, Central Asia, Columbia and the Amazon region of Peru.

These are the personal papers and records of Rolf Hovey, founder and director of the Berea College Chapel Choir and longtime Chairman of the Music Department. Materials include writings, correspondence, teaching materials, student projects, and numerous subject files including information regarding Berea College organizations and groups.
Wilson Reeves Collection
Wilson Reeves (1925-2008) was born in Fleming County, KY and attended Berea College. He was an avid amateur radio operator and collected unique and original recordings, with an extensive library of old-time and mountain music.
