Wilson Reeves Collection
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of recordings made by Wilson Reeves of interviews and performances of old-time and mountain musicians. Included in the collection are recordings of performances from the 1st Mountain Heritage Folk Festival (1970) in Greenup, KY, a 1972 Buell Kazee interview, an early 1970s Kazee informal concert, selections from musical performances at the 2nd and 3rd Annual Fraley Family Festival in Carter County, KY, and a recording of a July 1983 Lily May Ledford concert.

Abstract
Wilson Reeves (1925-2008) was born in Fleming County, KY and attended Berea College. He was an avid amateur radio operator and collected unique and original recordings, with an extensive library of old-time and mountain music.
