A manuscript plat "Map of the Village of Berea" drawn in ink on parchment created around 1880(?). On the reverse of the map is a blank Berea College diploma.

Seven black and white 5 x 7 inch photographs of Middletown School taken in 1991 prior to renovation of the building and grounds by Berea College. Middletown Consolidated School was a Rosenwald schoolhouse built for the use of African American children in 1927.

Content Description From the Collection: The assemblage of maps in this collection conveys visual information about the geography, geology, and topography of the United States, its natural resources, political subdivisions, and transportation routes that were developed during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. Some of the maps in the collection were originally gathered and utilized by the Berea College Geology Department.
