Committee to Study Future Service Functions of Berea College
The Committee to Study Future Service Functions of Berea College was created to conduct a study on the College's future development at the request of the Board of Trustees. The study was designed to help develop an adequate body of information and valid assumptions about the College, the region, and other areas to guide the college toward the future. The final reports shared the common title: "Alternatives in the Future of Berea College."

Convocations
For nearly 100 years, Berea College Convocations has made lectures, concerts and the performing arts available to the students and the general public. A significant part of students' educational experience at the College is offered through the Convocation series which, in addition to enlivening the intellectual, aesthetic and religious lives of students, provides common experiences for students, faculty, and staff.

County Achievement Contest Records
Promoted by the Berea College Extenstion Department, the County Achievement Contest for Eastern Kentucky was a county-wide contest with the aim of organizing and coordinating the work of counties for greater progress and effieciency. The contest ran from August 1, 1922 through December of 1923 and was developed and organized by Marshall E. Vaughn, Superintendent of Extension at Berea College. Counties participating in the contest include: Breathitt, Owsley, Rockcastle and Jackson.
