Abstract

This collection documents aspects of the lives of two American missionary couples who served West China Union University during the first half of the twentieth century: J. Calvin and Harriett Bright and Daniel S. and Jane B. Dye. Within are research materials on Bright and Dye family history, their experiences in China, their lives after returning to the United States, and their deep regard for the Chinese people and their art.
