Copies of Jasper Burch's U. S. Army discharge (7th regiment, Kentucky Infantry, 1864) and his Owsley County tax receipt (1871).

Photocopy. The document indicates that John G. Burch was inducted 24 May 1918 at Boonville, Kentucky, and that he served outside of the United States from 15 August 1918 to 21 December 1918.

Photocopy. Technical Sergeant Oakley Burch enlisted in Lexington, Kentucky, on 28 August 1942 and was discharged from the USMC Reserve 3 December 1945. He served in the Pacific area from January to November 1945.

This folder contains four tintype photographs, copy negatives and prints of the tintypes, a 1995 letter written by John Russell Burch, and a small notebook of data identifying the images.
