Two copies of Johnson's [map of] Kentucky and Tennessee published by Johnson and Ward circa 1863. One copy (Mt. Map 293) comprises pages 45-46 of an atlas and includes pages 55 and 56 titled "Historical and Statistical View of the United States." The other copy (Mt. Map 717) comprises pages 49-50 of an atlas and includes pages titled "Historical and Statistical View of the United States of America."

Five copies of a relief map of Indian Fort (near Berea), Madison County, "Explored and Surveyed by W.G. Burroughs." The maps were printed by the Industrial Arts Department of Berea College. "Kentucky Geological Survey Series VI, 1923."

This folder contains seven different maps of the Berea College campus that were made in the first half of the twentieth century. Unique among them is a Braille map of the campus.

Abstract The collection of maps comprises a variety of manuscript and printed scientific, transportation, and political maps that were created between 1793 and 1996. These items were collected by the Berea College geology department and campus libraries over the course of many decades. Most maps not associated with the geology department have no specific provenance data. The collection also includes a few manuscript maps and drawings.
