Scope and Contents From the Collection: This collection is comprised of postcards capturing scenes including the last stagecoach in Kentucky, logging on the Kentucky River, coal mines, moonshine stills, court day in Lexington, multiple scenes of tobacco cultivation and hemp cultivation, Shaker dwellings, and many others.The majority of the postcards apparently pre-date 1930, and none come from the 1940s.
