Abstract

The Kentucky Child Welfare Research Foundation’s Rural Child Care Project provided services to meet the growth and development needs of economically and educationally disadvantaged children and their families in ten Appalachian counties of Eastern Kentucky. Major objectives of the program included providing a combination of casework, homemaking, and day care services to aid the intellectual growth and development of children in Appalachian Kentucky. Records in this collection were donated by John C. Wolff, Jr., Program Coordinator.
