Includes 1910 correspondence regarding: the Berea Quarterly; introduction to Louis Stewart of New York; Pearsons donations, possible Ballard Endowment Fund (signed by William E. Barton); fund raising in absence of Frost; Edwin Hale Abbot denying donations to college under "existing conditions;" use of "the cause of Christ" (as a vague term) twice in the revised constitution Also includes 1901 letter of H.M. Penniman to Herbert A. Wilder (potential donor) regarding views on athletics/athletic competitions and dormitories and "well furnished schools." Includes note to Frost regarding this matter.
