Collection is comprised of images (bulk: c.1890-1930) by several area photographs including E. W. Todd and Edna Lynn Simms. Photographs are primarily of families in the Appalachian Mountains surrounding Berea College. Many of these images were used for public relations purposes during the Frost administration and include images of the Berea College campus, staff, faculty, and students. Images may have titles, place names, and notes written on them by the photographers and others.

Clippings: image of rustic log cabin. Caption: "Home of Mountaineers. This cabin in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee is a story and a half high and is considered one of the better type houses.
