Elisabeth Sinclair Peck Papers

Abstract
Elisabeth Sinclair Peck joined the Berea College faculty in 1912 and taught history until her retirement in 1953. Upon her retirement, she was appointed college historian by President Weatherford. She served in this role until her death in 1968. A prolific writer, Peck published numerous books on a range of topics—many involving the history and work of Berea College.

Abstract
The E.O. Robinson Mountain Fund was incorporated June 27, 1922, by Edward O. Robinson, Frederick W. Mowbray, Edward C. O'Rear, and W.H. Hyden. That year Robinson had retired from the presidency of the Mowbray-Robinson Lumber Company in Cincinnati, where he had made a fortune in the World War I lumber boom.
