Francis Stephenson Hutchins (b. 1902), a native of Northfield, Massachusetts, was educated at Oberlin College (A.B., 1923) and Yale University (M.A., 1933). Having worked in China as an undergraduate, Hutchins returned to China as an instructor in 1925 as part of the Yale-in-China Association's educational mission. Abstract
Lois Hirschy graduated from Berea College in 1924. A year later, she began teaching Latin and English in the Berea Academy (which later became the Foundation School). In 1928 she left the school and married Green Trimble; the couple made their home in Lexington, Kentucky. In the spring of 1966 Lois Hirschy Trimble was elected president of Lexington’s YWCA Board of Directors. Ms. Welsh was born on October 19, 1862 in Gloucester, Massachusetts but spent most of her early life in Boothbay, Maine. After graduating as Valedictorian from Gloucester High School in the spring of 1881, she entered Wellesley College in the fall of the same year. After four years of enrollment in Wellesley’s Classical Course, Ms. Welsh graduated with a B.A. in Classical Languages in 1885.

Abstract
Hutchins, born in 1850 and native of Brooklyn, New York, attended Oberlin College, Yale University, and Oberlin Theological Seminary. In 1896 he graduated from Union Theological Seminary and was ordained a Presbyterian minister, receiving his first pastorate at Bedford Church in Brooklyn. Later that same year,Hutchins married Anna Laura Murch of Cleveland (whom he had met at Oberlin).
