This folder contains a copy of a 2008 magazine article about Harris and a typescript volume of transcribed news clippings, public documents, and corresondences. Harris (1814-1869) was the author of the book Sut Lovingood: Yarns Spun by a "Nat'ral Born Durn'd Fool" (1867). The volume was owned by Ina Fields Wayland who received it from J. Cleveland Harris in 1940.
