These are correspondence, submitted articles, notes, drafts and proofs relating to the publication of Appalachian Notes (1971-1980) during the editorship of Berea College History Professor, Richard Drake. Also included are the results of an Appalachian Resource Survey (library and archives holdings) that Drake conducted during a sabbatical leave in 1973.
