Abstract Philis Alvic is a weaver and writer living in Lexington, Ky. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1964. In the early 1970s she did graduate study in textiles at Winthrop College. Her weaving has been shown at numerous exhibits throughout the United States.
