These are the papers of Robert Finley Spence, extension agent for Southern Madison and Rockcastle counties. Included in the collection are numerous clippings regarding the work and life of Spence as well as Spence's annual county agricultural agent reports (containing narrative and photographs) for Rockcastle and Southern Madison County, Kentucky.
