Biographical / Historical

Emily Florence Lane (1903-1956) of Morgan County, Kentucky, attended Berea College in 1922. She was the daughter of Joseph Columbus Lane (1849-1929) and Martha Susan Henry (1863-1943).

William Isaac Hylton (1893-1974) of Morgan County, Kentucky, attended Berea College 1913-1914. He was the son of Stephen Lewis Hylton (1856-1935) and Rebecca Ann Claypool (1859-1940).

E. Florence Lane and William I. Hylton married in Maytown, Kentucky, in November 1924. They had three children: William Isaac, Jr., Ralph Conrad, and Mark DeLane.
