Adaptive Climbers Festival Oral History Project
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of audio recorded interviews and field recordings of related campfire gatherings, meal times, and climbing activity. They were conducted October 10-12, 2024 by Emily Chen-Newton. The Adaptive Climbers Festival is a gathering of rock climbers with disabilities. Interviewees included climbers, guides, campground hosts and local business owners. 2024 is the third year the event was held in Kentucky’s Red River Gorge.
