Accruals and Additions

Berea College Library staff originally filed these photographs in mixed vertical files on Appalachian subjects. The photographs were later gathered into a separate collection. The original sources for most of the photographs are unknown, though Berea College professor James Watt Raine initials appear on a number of the items. Some of the photographs were originally part of a survey of rural schools or photographs from the Bureau of Mines, US Department of the Interior.
