Abstract
From 1997 to 1999, through a Mentoring Grant bestowed by the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts, the Berea College Faculty Mentoring Program engaged faculty, in two cohorts, with the goals of helping them to: work to build community and collegiality; explore common concerns relating to teaching, student-teacher relationships, and collaborative teaching experiences; engage in conversations about the College's Christian commitment; and explore the ethos of Berea College. The program was directed by Dr. Robert Schneider.
