Abstract

Created in 1980, the General Studies Assessment Committee was tasked with the responsibility of presenting a report to faculty at the end of the Fall Term 1981, with recommendations about the College's General Education Program. Four additional subcommittees/groups were also appointed to address specific topics related to general education: Subcommittee on Goals, Subcommittee on the Freshmen Year, Sucommittee on Science, and the Advisors to the Committee. The General Studies Program Assessment Committee was chaired by William F. Stolte.
