Historical Note

S.S. Berea Victory (MCV-734) was a type VC2-S-AP2 Victory-class cargo ship that carried supplies to armed forces in the Pacific War. It was built by the Permanente Metals Corporation and launced from shipyard number 2 in Richmond, California, on March 3, 1945.
