Arrangement Note

Series 1: Long Range Planning Committee (1969-1970) - made up of representative administrators, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni and students of the college, the LRPC meet throughout 1969 and early 1970 to produce a long-range development plan for the college. The committee studied the financial needs of the college for the period 1970-1975.

Series 2: Long Range Planning Committee (1974-1976) - the Berea College Long Range Planning Committee, made up of representative administrators, faculty, staff, trustees, alumni and students of the college, meet from September 1974 to March 1976, producing a final report ("Long Range Plan for 1976-1981") containing recommendations or basic guidelines to be submitted to the Board of Trustees.

Series 3: Long Range Planning Committee (1985-1987) - participated in an eighteen month long range planning process culminating in the March 1987 "Report of the Future of Berea College."
