Abstract

Since its adoption in 1996, the College's strategic plan Being and Becoming: Berea College in the 21st Century sought to further Berea's mission through college-wide initiatives that enhanced the core programs already in place. The strategic plan also guided additional programmatic, budgetary, and fund-raising priorities. The Strategic Planning Committee continued to work towards revision of the original plan as well as to develop additional initiatives through 2011.
