A Report on the Students of the Future

A thorough report dealing with long range planning for students, primarily on two issues: recruitment and retention. The recruitment discussion focuses on Berea's ability to attract enough adequately prepared students while still holding its commitments to interracial education, low income students, and students mainly from the Appalachian region. In addition, it discusses whether the Appalachian region is still in need of the assistance of Berea and how the college can continue its dedication to interracial education. The issue of retention deals focuses on whether Berea can successful maintain high retention rates, and how to accomplish this.
