Describes the importance of the Agricultural Department as it relates to both Berea and to the Appalachian region as a whole. It describes the goals of the department to help those in the region realize the inefficiency of current land methods, and make efforts to improve those methods. The pamphlet also notes and describes the useful locations and learning tools included with the department, such as the Dairy Herd, creamery, garden, forest and farm.
