Celebration of Traditional Music Recordings, 1974-
Berea College's Celebration of Traditional Music is an annual event striving to represent homemade music passed on from person to person in the Appalachian Region and the musicians who play it.

Academy School
Created as an affiliated school of Berea College, the Academy served as a Senior High School. In 1938, reorganization abolishes the Academy by adding the ninth and tenth grades to the Foundation School, thus creating the Lower Division (Grades 11-12, College Freshman and Sophomore years) and Upper Division (College Junior and Senior years) to the College.
Normal School
Official records of the Berea College Normal School, 1894 - 1931. The Certification Law of 1930, requiring teachers to have four years of collegiate training, effectively dismantled the Normal School (which had already been altered in keeping with other state and federal requirements).
Foundation School

Vocational Schools
These are the official records of the Berea College Vocational School. The Vocational School was abolished in 1924 with vocational courses being offered through other departments.
Berea Kindergarten
This collection contains information and records of the Berea Kindergarten affiliated with Berea College in the early to mid-20th century. The program was started by Minna Glass Durham with the encouragement of College staff and was run for some time in the Blue Ridge residence hall on the Berea College campus before moving to the Union Church.
