Scope and Contents
Added as a series to the collection in July 2015, this series includes audio-visual materials created by the UAC, materials about the UAC, and materials with content relevant to the organization. Formats vary. Included in this series are: cassette tape recordings of numerous 1986 interviews recorded for the Urban Appalachian Council Storytelling Project; unedited interview recordings, portions of which were used in the making of the video documentary Although Our Fields Were Streets (in video tape format); and early 1970s cassette tape recordings of proceedings of the Urban Appalachian Council Research Conference.
