Foundations, TOL-TUR, 1973-1976

The materials in this series consist of information on donations, grants, foundations, and correspondence with funding agencies. The arrangement is in alphabetical order by subject. Most of the information on foundations reflects correspondence that executive secretary, Loren Kramer, and other administrators sent to the foundations in order to receive aid. However, often information on particular foundations is included as well.

Most records date from about 1973-1976. The largest amount of records on any foundation is the Lilly Endowment which supported SIA for a number of years through a series of grants. Some materials in this series have been removed from the collection due to mold—items were photocopied when possible. Some of this material may be in a delicate condition due to water damage.
