Scope and Contents
This series consist of miscellaneous official and personal papers of Hutchins arranged by subject and include: Hutchins’ copies of annual reports to the Board of Trustees (1921-1939); legal papers and correspondence relating to shares in the Aluminum Company of America bequeathed to Berea by Charles M. Hall (n.d.); General education fund correspondence and reports (1920-1922); miscellaneous marriage certificates from Brooklyn, Oberlin, and Berea (1896-1926); annual reports of Berea faculty and Staff (1921-1939); Presidential Reports (1920-1935); and materials (letters, fragments of a diary, and reports) relating to Hutchins’ work as Y.M.C.A. Camp director at Camp Sheridan (Alabama) during W.W. I. Note: Copyright to the Camp Sheridan papers held by Francis S. Hutchins. Single copies may be made for private use of researchers. All other materials in this series is unrestricted.
