Photographs
Scope and Contents
Two folders of loose prints and a family album with captions comprise the series. The old and fragile album contains views of the Fairchild family and house; Berea College students, buildings, and campus scenes; as well as views of the surrounding area, and serves as the source for most of the oldest photographs of Berea College known to exist. In 2011, the pages of the album were re-housed in archival sleeves for preservation purposes; due to the heavy use of this item over many decades, the pages had all separated from the binding.
