Photographs are arranged alphabetically by subject while maintaining most of the original descriptive order. Some photographers are identified. Many photos were used in Mountain Life and Work Magazine. Not all photographs have an identified photographer--known photographer's names are listed on back of photographs. Some negatives exist for some photos in the collection. They are stored separately from the photos and can be founf in Boxes 256 B, C, and D.
