Scope and Contents
This collection contains records and papers detailing Dr. Ira Jay Martin III’s work and life as a scholar. The collection includes Martin’s notes, research material, manuscripts, and correspondence on a number of his research topics (primary topic being glossolalia, the topic of his doctoral thesis). To a limited extent the collection also reflects Martin’s work as a Berea College professor and his family life. Within this collection there are several types of records and media including documents, reel to reel tapes, cassette tapes, microfilm, and photographs.
