Scope and Contents
The extracurricular involovements series comprises folders of information on Dr. Charles's work with student groups and campus initiatives. Box 8 topics include Onxy (the Black Student Literary Magazine), the Martin Luther King, Jr. committee and celebration, the Black Ensemble, Black Student Union, Black History Week, Black History Month, and the Black Cultural Center. Of special note, this subseries includes color slides of student activities that took place between 1974 and 1983. Box 9 materials include campus event photo boards.
