Scope and Contents
While correspondence is present throughout the archive, this series brings together a substantial body of Janis Ian’s communications on a range of personal, professional, and administrative subjects. The original order of the correspondence files has been preserved. The first subseries is organized and retained by correspondent’s surname, business, or organizational name. The bulk of the materials in the second subseries, arranged chronologically, consists of printed personal email correspondence between Janis Ian and Pat Synder.
