Steamboat Era Museum Oral History Project
Scope and Contents
This series consists of correspondence, contracts, and reports. During 2003 the Klines? recorded interviews of twenty residents of the Virginia Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula for whom steamboating was a daily reality, those who worked on the boats and wharves, those who rode them as passengers and crew, and those who shipped produce and manufactured items or ordered goods for delivery.
