Scope and Contents
This series contains miscellaneous items about the College. There is a page with the Williamsburg Institute Song, a map of Williamsburg and specific directions of how to get to the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg, a Catalogue of the officers and students of Williamsburg Institute first session 1889, Western Recorder citations on Williamsburg Institute/Cumberland College, a program to a Dedication Service of the Gatliff Baptist Church on September 23, 1956, an invitation to the commencement exercises of May 19, 1904, and the minutes of the trustees of Cumberland College meeting at J.B. Mahan's residence on May 26, 1925.
Along with these items is a folder containing information related to J.L. Creech, president of Cumberland College in 1941. Included are correspondence, an account book, Conference on College Programs, Conference Announcements, and teacher applications.
