Pleasant Grove: Correspondents
Scope and Contents
This series consists of correspondence, interview logs, and photographs relating to the Klines' local history and folklife documentation work in the Pleasant Grove community of Alamance County, North Carolina. The work was conducted in 2008 and 2010 under the auspices of the Alamance County Arts Council and the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation. The information gathered was envisioned as being of use to develop tourism in the Pleasant Grove area, as an educational tool for the Occaneechi Tribal Center, and as historical documentation for the Haw River Museum and Alamance County Historical Museum.
