Scope and Contents
This series is comprised of photographs taken by Sara Carter Patterson, who taught at Stuart Robinson School in the 1930s. Some of the photographs have descriptions on the back. Photograph content includes: groups of students, buildings, activities, “new” dairy barn and silo (erected 1934), pre-school children, Young People’s Conference (1935), groups of male students, male basketball team, Burnett-Haney Memorial Library, Boys’ Dormitory, gymnasium, Sara Carter with her class, Superintendent’s Cottage, Administration Building, group hiking, home economics classroom, doctors and nurses at tonsil clinic.
