Scope and Contents
This series consists of correspondence, photographs, and other material relating to Michael Kline's documentation of the Cherokee elder Walker Calhoun which included production of a recording of traditional Cherokee music and dance. His work was done while serving as folklorist at the Mountain Heritage Center at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina from 1988-1990.
