Pendleton County, West Virginia Audio Recordings
Scope and Contents
This series consists of original recorded interviews used to develop CD audio tours for the Pendleton County, West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
The tour recordings depicted the culture and history of each of the county's distinct river valleys and the county seat of Franklin. Recording track numbers corresponded with numbered signs at historic sites along mapped routes.
Preservation of these interviews was made possible by a Recordings-At -Risk grant from the Council On Library and Information Resources (CLIR). The CLIR grant program is made possible by funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
