Abstract
Isham B. Chesnut served as the Berea College Forester from 1918-1927. Born in Hiatt, Rockcastle County, Kentucky in 1882, Chesnut attained teaching certificates from multiple Kentucky counties and was schooled in agricultural practices by Robert Spence before serving as a field agent in West Virginia from 1915 to 1917.
