Abstract
This collection comprises more than 100 cubic feet of personal papers generated or collected by professor Jim Wayne Miller. Miller was a graduate of Berea College and Vanderbilt University. From 1963 to 1993 he taught German language courses at Western Kentucky University. A native of North Carolina, Miller was a significant figure in the field of Appalachian Studies.
