Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar assists students, faculty and alumni with a variety of services including maintaining academic records on all students and overseeing registration. The Registrar also maintains access to the academic calendar, class schedule, and college catalog.
Scenario Planning Taskforce: Academic Restructuring
The Scenario Planning Taskforce (SPT) was created in response to the 2008 market performance that significantly impacted Berea College's endowment. The taskforce was charged with developing two to four scenarios of academic restructuring that would honor Berea's core mission including no undergraduate tution while fitting within a reduced budget for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Scholarship Committee
Committee, headed by Dean of Faculty and comprised of other faculty members and Deans, responsible for a number of procedural matters and decisions regarding student academics including: academic appeals, suspensions, reinstatements, and probations; academic dishonesty and plagarism hearings; grade change requests; grading and honors; other. Separate Lower and Upper Divison Committees existed until April 1947.
